The Heart of Religion chapter 3 studied. The awe of the Lord is an aspiration to the Supreme, filled with love-longing. Conscious desire is often contradicted by its unconscious twin. Remain watchful, aspire without desire or grasping. Observe everything. Then the stir of Transcendent love and wisdom will arise and grow.
