The Heart of Religion page 121 read. Freedom from fear and sorrow is indispensable for the living of the religious life. Death is a mere sloughing off of an external skin. Loss is non-existent if I am free of possessiveness. The transmutation of consciousness is the whole story of spiritual development. Our consciousness changing means all consciousness changes.
