We shall again be holding our Summer School this year in Edenbridge, Kent, as we have now done for several years. A few places are still available for the School which will be held from Wednesday 21st to Monday 26th July.
The venue is a pleasant Victorian house with modern additions, and it has an atmosphere of great peace. It has beautiful grounds and is set in a lovely rural area of Kent.
There are several large meeting rooms, a library, a chapel and a labyrinth. Accommodation is in comfortable single rooms and the food is vegetarian, although it may be possible for some people to have meat, if required.
The cost will be £50 per person per day, and if anyone wishes to come for only part of the time, it should be possible to arrange this. We also hope to have one specific day for day visitors.
Our theme this year will be “Your Own Path”, and people attending may if they wish give a short talk on this theme, and possibly play a talk by Phiroz of their own choosing.
Please contact the Editor for more information or to book a place. Bookings should be accompanied by a non-refundable deposit of £30, and cheques should be made out to Rosemary Monk.
We have a small Summer School fund available for those who may have difficulty in meeting the full cost. Would anyone wishing to know more about this please contact the Editor in strict confidence. Donations to the fund would also be very much appreciated.
Our Summer Schools are always very happy occasions, where we meet friends old and new. We listen to recorded talks by Phiroz Mehta, have discussions, go for walks and usually have Chi Kung classes. Do come if you can.
