The Phiroz Mehta Trust Summer School 2009
From the Editor
This year our Summer School will be held again in Edenbridge, Kent, from Saturday 5th September to Thursday 10th September 2009.
Our venue is a retreat centre, and is a really lovely and peaceful place for our Summer School. The house dates from Victorian times with modern additions, and is set in beautiful gardens in the unspoilt countryside of Kent. The food is vegetarian and good, and the bedrooms are comfortable. In the house there is a chapel for meditation and a labyrinth.
The charge this year will be £50 per person per day (5 days), but if anyone has problems about meeting the full cost, the venue will accept a smaller amount, from £40 per day.
Our theme this year will be “Holistic Consciousness” and we shall be following Phiroz’s book of that name. We shall listen to at least one talk a day by Phiroz and have discussions, walks and possibly Chi Kung classes. There will also be a day set aside for one-day visitors. All activities will be entirely optional.
There is a small fund available for those who may have difficulties in meeting the full cost. Please contact the Editor in strict confidence if you would like to know more about this.
Would anyone wishing to come to the Summer School please contact the Editor.
