The Phiroz Mehta Trust Summer School 2003
From the Editor
Our Summer School was held this year from 19th – 25th May. It was again very ably organized by Ron Kett and by several members who brilliantly looked after the catering.
We had our usual very happy time together listening to tapes by Phiroz, discussing, meeting old friends and making new ones, all in a beautiful and tranquil setting. This year the talks played were mostly those originally given at Elmau in September 1976.
During the week a small fund was started to help those group members who find it hard to afford the full costs of accommodation at our School. Each person makes such a valuable contribution to our School, and it was felt that money should not be an obstacle to attendance. In creating this fund it is hoped that those less able to afford to join the group Summer School will be encouraged to apply for help. All help given will be completely confidential and will of course depend on the generosity of group members able to donate to the fund.
