Mind and consciousness function through purified psyche. Meditation takes place in the unio mystica, the cessation, the turīya. The meditative state is one of poise, equanimity and bliss. Dormant in us is a bridge by which we cross over to the Infinite. The purpose of our existence is that we may become conscious cooperators with God.
