A talk given by Phiroz Mehta at Dilkusha, Forest Hill, London on 12th October 1980
Consciousness is (1) Universal, Absolute (2) limited, finite, temporal, mortal. (1) subsumes (2). The point grows into a line by movement — so too with lines and surfaces. The contexts of the Infinite, or Transcendence and finitude, are inextricably interwoven. All time and infinite timeless states are subsumed in Eternity.
