A talk given by Phiroz Mehta at Dilkusha, Forest Hill, London on 18th May 1980
Life brings one to birth and also to death. Nothing is absolutely dead. Every atom is vibrating, alive, “conscious”. At death the “I-am-I” consciousness vanishes, there is complete absorption into One Infinite Non-Being. As we are, confused, taṇhā-dominated, we cannot see death as other-life. Life-form dies but life-function goes on.
