A talk given by Phiroz Mehta at Dilkusha, Forest Hill, London on 10th February 1980

Self-awareness is more profound than self-consciousness, which is isolative, hence conflict and misery. Self-awareness is in fact unself-awareness. "The thought in the mind of God" brings forth cosmos. Psyche obstructs this and prevents true self-awareness. If we deal intelligently with the body, we awaken to self-awareness.
