A talk given by Phiroz Mehta at Dilkusha, Forest Hill, London on 5th January 1979
Without sense functioning and speech, we would have no perception of body. The psycho-physical organism makes us feel separate from the “other” person. Being separatively conscious, we are obtrusive upon the world. This “noise” prevents us from hearing the Silence of Eternity. If we can keep pace with the pulse of creation, we are conscious in terms of the Immortal, the Eternal.
