A talk given by Phiroz Mehta at Dilkusha, Forest Hill, London on 27th March 1976

Ancient peoples regarded the family, not the individual, as the biological (psycho-physical) unit of society. Every person by the mere fact of his existence is influencing and interacting with all of his environment. Man today is almost looking over the precipice. He is looking to external systems to solve an internal, individual problem. I alone can heal myself of the ills. Also the parents have failed.
