The worldling is self-oriented. For him right thinking is that which promotes desire, ambition, etc. We need understanding. This implies right mindedness, out of which proceed right thinking and right action. “The body is the Temple of the Lord.” Cleanse the Temple, then Śiva, the Lord, takes charge. Morality implies relinquishment. The root unmorality is ego-centredness.
