The discipline of the religious life effects a complete transformation of the person, essentially of the mode of awareness of existence. Attentiveness — listening to the stillness and silence within and without , to the Total Reality. The “I”, the “me”, is the source of conflict, separation, “fall”. But how magical is the beauty of unselfconsciousness!
