A talk given by Phiroz Mehta at Dilkusha, Forest Hill, London on 16th November 1973

The Royal Wedding. What did we think and feel? Tears, memories - sad, excited? If so, why? Are we really mindful? Marriage stirs up deep1y because we feel here is life's supreme happiness. Transcendence has no categories such as fulfilment, etc. In pure sati there is unified mind in tune with the creative pulse, and there is a state of fruition in which the flow of life is pellucid - no tears, conflicts, excitements.
