A talk given by Phiroz Mehta at Dilkusha, Forest Hill, London on 5th August 1973
Mind meeting body gives rise to psyche. Psyche is the receptacle for our karma. Why does man’s psyche bear ill and sorrow? Mind is virtue, an energy, the power of the soul. The samāpattis mean silence. Our “mentality” purified becomes virtue. Meditation means being in communion. Spiritual induction takes place in the still and silent state. Recorded at the 1973 Dilkusha Summer School.
