In total silence of the mind is the realization of the immortal state of awareness. In the perfect poise of mind, one is aware in the mode of Nirvāṇa (evil extinguished). Scripture cannot be understood by me as I am — it can, by me purified. Atharva-Veda — book of “charms and spells.” Hymn 5.11.5. expounded. States of mind to be associated with a jhāna.
