Yama, the first mortal who found his way to the other world, becoming the Master of Death. With the purification of the senses and the calming down of discursive thought, one enters into the state of inner poise — Yama “dies” to all worldliness. In this state, Master of Death, one is the unresisting focus for the free entry and outflow of Transcendence itself.
