A talk given by Phiroz Mehta at Dilkusha, Forest Hill, London on 22nd September 1972

"Man verily is God, God verily is Man" (Eckhart). We see the world in terms of duality. In Totality everything is included. Isolative self-consciousness is the real trouble. If I am aware of hurtfulness as a world phenomenon, I can absorb it into myself and transmutation can go on. To be thus sensitive is a deep meaning of being awake. The seeing which comes out of sensitive watchfulness is the enlightening of the mind.
