Scriptural writings present the body as suave, a delusion and imposthume, and on the other hand as the Temple of the Most High. The living organism is the repository of total awareness/consciousness, not my awareness. The mental outlook is dominated by the bodily life. Yoga is the transformation of the body from obstructor of Transcendent Reality into its manifester.
