A talk given by Phiroz Mehta at Dilkusha, Forest Hill, London on 20th May 1972
There is one form which only the few wise ones salute — the death of the “entity-self”, to which we cling. “He who doth crush the great ‘I am’ conceit, this indeed is supreme happiness” (words of the Buddha). The misconceived “I” is the parent of the devil in one. The denial of reality is in the organism itself. Seeing this fact brings about transformation.
