We seek self-perpetuation in our children, fame, entity ego, etc. “I-am-I” is the basic illusion. We experience birth/death by “I-am-I” association with everything. Memory captures our attention and we are unawake to Now, i.e. to reality. The Teachers taught the way — morality and virtue.
