Viññāṇa being discriminative, analytical and separative, we know the elements as separate items. The "elements" as constructs in the mind perish, but consciousness transforms. Truth is other than proving or disproving a point. See the unwanted, and Man-in-the-image-of-God is present. Maitri Upaniṣad 6.34. dealt with in detail.
