A talk given by Phiroz Mehta at Dilkusha, Forest Hill, London on 7th November 1969

The 1st and 15th khaṇḍas of the Subala Upaniṣad considered. The Divine Person is between "heaven" and "earth." The Divine Person creates mṛityu, death. "Death" is the last thing to be split by the vijñāna-ghana, and then death becomes one with the Radiant Supreme. Thus there is no annihilation. The fruition of the religious life is complete wholeness.
