A talk given by Phiroz Mehta at Dilkusha, Forest Hill, London on 30th August 1969
Concepts and percepts considered. Why do we talk of “I must enter the void”, or “I must be united with God”? Mainly to run away from reality. The Mahayana doctrine of śūnyatā examined. The personality of man is the outside swelling, nāma-rūpa, but with an inside hollow, anātman. This talk is identical to D007 — Concepts and Precepts (I).
