The Phiroz Mehta Trust Summer School 2017

Our Summer School in 2017 will be held at Claridge House, Lingfield, Surrey, from Tuesday 8th to Sunday 13th August. We have had several very happy Summer Schools there in the past few years.
Claridge House is a very comfortable Victorian house with a large attractive garden. It has been extensively refurbished in the last year. Most of the bedrooms are now refurnished and en suite. The food is entirely vegetarian and extremely good, and some special diets are available.
The administrators of Claridge House have been extremely generous in offering us a special price for the five days. This will be £400 for one person in a single ensuite room, and £350 for one person in a single room without private facilities. This is well below the ‘going rate’, and we are most grateful to Claridge House for their generosity.
If you would like to come, a non-refundable deposit of £50 should be sent to Rosemary Monk at 47 Lillian Road, London SW13 9JF. The balance will be payable by mid-July. Cheques should be made payable to Claridge House. There are only two non-ensuite rooms, so could you please indicate whether you would be willing to have an ensuite room if the others are already taken.
Again we shall be able to offer two entirely free places to those who have not been to the Summer School before. We should also be able to help those who have difficulty in meeting the full cost. Please contact Rosemary Monk on 020 8748 3218 about this. It would however be appreciated if people participating on this basis would attend all of the recorded talks by Phiroz Mehta.
We shall be listening each day to at least one recorded talk by Phiroz Mehta and then hold discussions, which tend to be often very interesting and lively. In addition we shall probably also watch DVDs by other spiritual teachers, and we are always interested in hearing what other people would like, so please let us have your ideas.
The Phiroz Mehta Trust Summer School is usually quite a unique event in that we listen to talks on spirituality by a most remarkable man whose work is frequently quite unorthodox and not readily available elsewhere.
