The Phiroz Mehta Trust Summer School 2004

From the Editor

Our Summer School this year will take place in Oxfordshire, from the afternoon of Monday 16th August to the morning of Friday 20th August (four nights).

The cost on a self-catering basis will be £29–£38 per person per night for accommodation, plus approximately £5 per person per day for food. This will be vegetarian and will be prepared by our excellent cooks with some help as required by members. (It would be helpful if those attending could bring cash with them to pay for the food). We have obtained a special rate from which does not include the provision of sheets, (pillow cases are supplied) so we are asked to bring our own (single) sheets. However for those who do not wish to bring these, they can be provided at a cost of £4 per person. In any case we will have to bring our own towel and soap as these will not be provided.

For those unable to attend for the whole of the Summer School, it will be possible to stay for one or two nights, or alternatively to attend for one day (Tuesday 17th August) at a cost of £10 per person plus the cost of food for the day.

If you would like to attend our Summer School, please contact the Trust.

A small fund exists to help those who find it hard to meet the full cost of the School. Anyone finding it financially difficult should apply in the strictest confidence to the Trust.

For those who would like to contribute to the fund, please send your cheque to the Editor at the address of the Trust. Cheques should be made payable to Rosemary Monk.
