The Phiroz Mehta Trust Summer School 2012
From the Editor
Our Summer School this year will be held in Kent from Friday 20th to Wednesday 25th July.
We have been to the same venue for several years now, and we have always had a happy and rewarding time. Our hosts are always most welcoming, and we enjoy all the amenities of the house with its chapel, labyrinth and library and its beautiful grounds, set in a lovely part of Kent.
We listen to recorded talks by Phiroz, and these give rise to some interesting discussions. There are periods set aside for meditation, we usually have Chi Kung classes and we go for walks in the countryside. (All activities are entirely optional). We shall have one specific day set aside for day visitors.
The cost will be £50–55 per person per day. (The running costs are very high and our hosts would be very appreciative of a little more if this could be spared.) Bookings are being taken and require a deposit of £50 per person. This deposit is non-refundable. Please inform us if you require a special diet.
Accommodation is in comfortable single rooms. The food is vegetarian with vegetables and fruit from the garden, but meat diets can be arranged.
A small fund is available for those who might have difficulty meeting the full cost of the Summer School. Please contact the Trust to hear more about this. All enquiries will be treated in strict confidence. Donations to the fund would be extremely welcome.
If you would like to hear more about the School, please contact the Trust. Do come if you can. The Phiroz Mehta Trust Summer School is
an enriching experience as we listen to the wisdom and profound knowledge of Phiroz.
