Karma is misrepresented as "retributive justice." Retribution is of the nature of vengeance, belonging to the finite, temporal, mortal. Justice heals, it holds within itself mercy, compassion, patience, wisdom, rooted in the Infinite, Eternal, Immortal. It is sensitive to the elements which compose the karmic process.
